How to win $$ playing poker
I have made a small guide on how to be a winning pokerplayer. It's not so hard to be a winning player, and I tell you what I did to start making money playing poker. I know that if you follow my strategy, you could also do it.
1. Choose where to play
It's important to choose a good site to play at. A good site should have plenty of players, plenty of games and maybe the most important thing, good rakeback. I believe Full Tilt Poker is the best site at the moment, and you get 27% rakeback there if you sign up through RakeRebate.net. RakeRebate.net is the world's largest rakeback provider.
Click here to go to RakeRebate.net and follow the instructions to sign up to Full Tilt Poker and recieve 27% rakeback.
(Rakeback is also known as Rake Rebate, rake return etc. Simply speaking, rake back means that you will receive a percentage of the rake you pay to the poker operator back to yourself. All players leaves behind serious amounts of rake every single month, so no matter if you're a low stakes player or a highroller a rakeback deal will only do your wallet good.)
2. Choose what to play
I believe playing SnG-tournaments is the easiest way to win money playing poker. I've made a strategy guide for playing the $6+0.5 No Limit Texas Hold'em turbo SnG-tournaments at Full Tilt Poker.
Click here to download my Full Tilt Poker SnG-strategy.
3. Deposit money and start playing
I recommend you to deposit $200 at Full Tilt Poker. They give you a 100% bonus (up to $600) when you make your first deposit. This makes it better to make one big deposit instead of several small ones. $200 should be enough if you follow my strategy and play the $6+0.5 turbo SnG-tournaments. I recommend you to play ten $1+0.25 turbo SnG-tournaments to practise on the strategy, and then start playing the $6+0.5 turbo SnG-tournaments.
4. Learn more
When you have learned my SnG-strategy, and make money playing the SnG-tournaments, it's time to start studying more advanced strategy and tactic. Start by studying the SnG resources I've collected here.
I also recommend you to buy two books at Amazon.com, Harrington on Hold'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments, Vol. 1: Strategic Play and Harrington on Hold'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments, Vol. 2: Endgame. In my opinion, theese two books gives you the best poker advice ever written.
Good luck!
Arild
